How often do we come across views like this? We often pass various places but how many do we actually experience in true sense? Here’s to the one which forced me to sit down and gave me an opportunity to experience it.
Mornings have always had an uncanny appeal to me. And then there are views like this which coax me to stopover and enjoy the serenity of the place. A mix of both makes my day. Cold misty and frosty mornings in mountains have their own different charm. Nothing can match the peace , the magnificent panorama.
Looking at this all I knew was that I want to take it all in. I wanted it to sink deep into my memory.
I could feel mountain air kissed by the early morning sun tickling me , the calmness inciting me making my heart sing
Take me high above the mountains..
Let me fly on wings of love….
Longing to taste the dew , of a misty morning
I could see flowers decorated with dew. Those pretty little diamonds spoke of the purity , the delicacy and the tranquility of the place.
I could hear birds chirping. It seemed like they were singing a song praising the mountains. I could almost dance to the tunes.
Amongst all this there was something I was missing , something I didn’t pay much attention to. Something like a soft whisper. A hazy murmur , a faint voice calling onto me ! Oh yes , it was the ‘ call of the mountains’ .
It was just so magical and I was so engulfed in this magic of the foggy nature. It’s not like mountains have never appealed to me before – they have always fascinated me – it’s just that they have never talked to me before that is what made me write this .
It was a total adore and pure bliss sitting over there , silently , doing nothing just truly experiencing the place and soaking in each and every detail slowly , etching it all in my mind.
The whole incident was so conspicuous and since it was just another place on way to my destination , I had to move on. I got up to leave. I opened my arms one last time to embrace the place. It was sure not what we call a warm hug tho but it forced me to leave a part of me to the place while it gave me its all in return , which is a treasure I am keeping forever.
